StanChem Fishway

Opened in May 2013, this fish ladder allows migratory fish access to the Mattabesset River above High Pond Dam. Built with private funding, the planning and construction was the result of a cooperative effort between StanChem, Inc. and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.  This is just one of many ways StanChem helps protect the environment and gives back to the community.
